SERMON NOTES: Word traveled fast, but understanding came slowly. The women find angelic messengers at the tomb who proclaim Jesus risen. But the apostles dismiss this as an "idle tale." Peter runs to find the empty tomb, and is amazed. No one knew what Jesus meant, when he would speak about dying and "being raised from the dead." Slowly on that Easter morning, the light of comprehension dawned. He is RISEN!
