SERMON NOTES: This story of Peter's ministry is the stuff of pastoral envy. The earliest followers of "The Way" have belonged to the faith that gave birth to Jesus; yet, God is at work expanding the impact of the gospel from the confines of the synagogue into the wider world. Philip has already baptized an Ethiopian eunuch, but how far will this fledgling faith move beyond the borders of the Jewish faith. When Peter needs to know if there room for those aligned with Rome, he receives a very direct answer.
