The tomb is closed with a stone. The earth quakes, the stone rolls away. The women are met by a messenger angel who commands them, "Fear Not!" and instructs them to relay a message to the (now) eleven disciples. As they run to comply, Jesus appears. The truth of resurrection makes its way from the angel to the women, from the women to the disciples, from the disciples through the centuries to us. And I wonder at the possible futures that unfold when we obey Jesus and "Fear Not!"
