The Congregational Care Committee provides ongoing care for the First Presbyterian Church family, through face-to-face visitation or by phone, assisting the pastor by keeping in touch with the congregation.
Congregational Care lovingly organizes and hosts a light reception for funerals or memorial services, giving the family opportunity to greet those attending.
As needed, Sunday Sharing is a special program created to offer support for family members caring for a homebound patient. Volunteers visit with the homebound patient during Sunday Worship allowing the care giver the opportunity to attend Worship Services and meet with their church family.
The Congregational Care Committee also sends notes and cards of encouragement as well as anniversary and birthday greetings.
