I became a member of First Presbyterian Church in 1979, along with my new wife and son. I worked on the railroad so I did not get to attend a lot of services and events. Charlene and Jay were punctual. Mr and Mrs McElroy were dear to us. I drifted over to St John Lutheran in Rutersville and attended as I could. After many trials and tribulations I was called back to First Presbyterian in 2010. The Good Lord gave me directions to serve, and that is what I have done. I strive to be more like Jesus expects of me. And I am still here. THANK YOU JESUS
