Matthew 28:19-20 indicates how we enter a relationship of learning following our salvation. We are committed to learning these divine and necessary things: fellowship, worship, service, and growing in grace. These virtues, disciplines, and practices are learned for purpose.   “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit”. We can all pretty much agree that a disciple of Jesus is one who trusts and follows Him and obeys all of His teachings.

Preacher Ed Murphy.  Ed Murphy is a member of the New Life Methodist Church of La Grange. He is a Certified Lay Minister of the Mid-Texas Conference, Global Methodist Church, and serves as a pulpit supply preacher when called. Ed has been the ministry lead for the Feed the Need ministry, which feeds people physically and spiritually every Monday evening on the courthouse square in La Grange. For the past 15 years, he has brought the Good News of Jesus Christ to those incarcerated through the Kairos Prison Ministry in the Stevenson Unit, Cuero, Texas. Ed is pursuing a Masters of Ministry degree from the Global Awakening Theological Seminary.
