Description
It is an extended encounter between Jesus and a lone Samaritan woman. We can understand her presence, the water is necessary to life; yet, Jesus offers a different kind of water—living water—and in the long run a different kind of life. What it is that we yearn for when we come to the water, and what will rise within us as Jesus meets our thirst?
