Just as Jesus willingly gave his life for us, we must be prepared to sacrifice our own desires and ambitions for the sake of God's kingdom.  Our focus should be on pleasing God and doing his will, rather than pursuing worldly success or recognition. 
 
We must dedicate ourselves to following Jesus' teachings and example, becoming true disciples who reflect his character and values. By dying to our own desires, we can experience the abundant life that God offers through faith in Jesus Christ.
