Whatever is born of God conquers the world. This challenging assurance comes amid talk of love and obedience and belonging. Our faith is born of God. Our identity as children of God is born of God. Our obedience to God's purpose is born of God. Our love is born of God. The question we might ponder is how are these things prevail over the world—over the certainty, identity, impiety, and enmity that is so prevalent in our time?
