WELCOMING THE REV DR SARAH ALLEN: Sarah serves Austin Seminary as the director of Ministerial Formation and Advanced Studies. Prior to her appointment on the seminary faculty, she served as Pastor for Children, Youth, and Families at First Presbyterian Church in Austin for fourteen years. She and her husband Cam, also a PC(USA) minister, have three children, Zanna, Wyatt, and Lila who bring them joy and keep them busy. When Sarah is not at the seminary or chauffeuring her children to activities, she is likely to be found curled up with a good book, jogging with a friend, volunteering with the PTA, leading her Girl Scout troop, or dreaming of the next time she’ll get to eat ice cream.
