Description
This is the pattern of the wilderness wanderings: great need, murmuring, grumbling, complaining, accusations to Moses, prayer lifted to God, God's providential care, a renewed sense of life. Perhaps that is the pattern of all our lives as we travel through seasons of bewildering wilderness. Haven't we all wondered (like the Israelites) "Is God among us, or not?"
