Moses wants a glimpse of the God who calls him, the God who sustains him, the God who leads and accompanies him. But God's glory is more than human being can withstand. Yet, God (in all God's mystery and majesty) is willing to give Moses a glimpse of the one he follows. God leads Moses to solid ground, shelters him in the cleft of the rock, and passes by so that Moses might get a sense of God's fullness and God's presence. Shall we join Moses as he celebrates in wonder?
