The Gospel tells us that Love conquers with persistent trust and faith and the Lord shows mercy to those who seek him. Jesus praises a Gentile woman for her persistent faith and for her affectionate love. The fact that Jesus reached out to this Gentile woman fundamentally shows that Jesus comes for the broken, the sick, the outsider, and the sinner. He wants us to increase our faith in His saving help. This also shows that God’s love and mercy knows no bounds. Sometimes God keeps us waiting so as to deepen our faith. In the long run what He wants is always best for us. What are my ways to deepen my relationship and faith to the Lord?
