This week, we welcome Lemuel Garcia-Arroyo to First Presbyterian Church. Lemuel is the mission engagement advisor for the South region, which includes the Synods of the Sun, Southwest, and Boriquen (Puerto Rico). He has served churches in Mission Presbytery, worked on staff at Synod of the Sun, worked with Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, served on the PC(USA) staff. Of his work with Presbyterian Missions, he says, “It’s a great privilege to serve the PC(USA) to help connect mid councils and congregations to the ministry work that we do. I’m grateful to serve the church I love so much; this is truly a gift from God.”
