PASTOR'S PREVIEW: Naomi and her daughter-in-law Ruth successfully navigated the journey back to Judah. Now, the hard work begins—surviving widowhood without immediate family to help. It's the barley harvest, and Ruth is a hard worker. We will hear about the risks she takes and the rewards her hard work and faithfulness bring. When we hear of Ruth's determination, compassion, and resilience, we remember that her life is a prequel to the story of God's Messiah.
